Instructions for abstract submission
General instructions
If you wish to make a abstract submission, please use the abstract submission form.
The Scientific Committee will evaluate the abstracts and will confirm the type of presentation and scientific theme and/or session retained.
Deadline for abstract submission: 10 May 2024
- The conference official language is English. Please submit your abstract accordingly.
- Maximum 300 words (title not included).
- When applicable, and appropriate, abstracts should be structured with the following subheading: Introduction and objectives; Materials and methods; Results, discussion and conclusion.
- If your presentation (poster or oral communication) is selected, all presenters must register, and attend the conference in person to present.
Abstract updates
Closing date for abstract modification is 10 May 2024.
Authors who have already submitted abstracts have the opportunity to modify and/or replace their original abstracts.
To find your access codes to the ‘Author area’, search in your emails notification about abstract submission and abstract number that were sent by noreply@alphavisa.com.
- For authors who wish to cancel abstract submission, please contact esove@alphavisa.com mentioning abstract number.
- For authors who wish to modify abstract submission, please go to your Author abstract area and use the ‘Edit’ button to correct your abstract in order to submit the updated version.
For oral communications
- Abstracts selected for an oral presentation will be 20 minutes long (15 min talk and 5 min for questions);
- A laptop (PC and Mac) will be available for speakers.
For posters
- Posters will be installed the first day of the conference.
- One poster session (1h30, on Tuesday, October 15th) will allow participants to come and discuss with the authors, who will be asked to stand next to their poster during the sessions.
- The available surface for your poster is adapted to A0 format: 118 cm (height) x 84 cm (width) // 46.4 in (height) x 33.1 in (width).
- Fixings will be provided.
For Keynote Speakers
- Keynote speaker presenations will be 35 minutes long (20-30 min talk and 5-10 min for questions).
