By train
The Rennes train station is located south of the city center.
Thanks to the LGV (High Speed Line), Rennes station is only 1h25 from Paris from the Gare Montparnasse. With 41 connections between Rennes and Paris every day, a train every half hour or so, one out of two of which is non-stop.
For destinations in the South, Rennes is connected to Lyon in 4 hours 20 minutes and to Marseille in 7 hours. In the North, Lille is 4 hours away.
