SFI-AFC 2022

Dear Colleagues and Members of the SFI and AFC,

The city of Nice and the Sud Region are pleased to host for the first time the joint annual meetings of the French Society for Immunology and the French Association of Cytometry. This event will take place on 22, 23 and 24 November 2022 at the Acropolis, Palais des Congrès et des Expositions, located at a short walking distance from the Old Town of Nice, the Promenade des Anglais and the Castle Hill.

Our two communities of immunologists and cytometrists have put much effort in putting together an original program that comprises a wide range of subjects based on fundamental and applied research, as well as cutting-edge technology. This year’s congress will also feature several sessions dedicated to clinical immunology.

Like the previous years, the AFC and the SFI aim to promote young immunologists and cytometrists by allowing them to present their work as posters or oral communications during a plenary session, co-organized with the French Club of Young Immunologists and the AFC scientific committee. Several prizes will awarded to this young community for the best oral communication, the best PhD article and Thesis prize.

Special attention will be given to ecological commitment and gender equality during the congress. To highlight the role of women in science, a lunch debate with two committed female guests will be organized.

Student, researcher, engineer, technician, teacher-researcher, clinician, medical practitioner, health or industry professional, this conference, co-organized by the AFC and the SFI, is for you.

This conference will be a great venue to discuss science, new ideas and discoveries and will be ideal to induce and promote many collaborations.
